printing Guide

Printing

Our printing information is ideal for help with basic printing with our printables at home.  Here is our guide for printing our dashboards that can also be used for our inserts, planner cards, and sticky notes. We’ve also included tips for cutting as well!

The Basics

All of our dashboards, inserts, sticky notes and planner cards are designed to be printed on US letter-sized paper (8.5″ x 11″).

Once your payment has been processed successfully, you will receive access via a link and an email.

Each item is in PDF format in a ZIP file folder. There will be one regular PDF file which can be used for printing on pre-sized paper, a PDF file that will have trim or “cut” marks for easy printing and cutting and a terms of use file.

Please note that the final product may appear slightly different because of your monitor or printer.

Our dashboards can be printed on any paper you’d like such as cardstock, standard paper and vellum. If printing on vellum, please allow ample time for the ink to dry. Drying time may vary based on design and printer type.

When printing, make sure you’re printing from the file itself and not your web browser.

To access the designs, the file will need to be unzipped. To do so, we reccomend using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

We offer digital download files only so there are some supplies you will need.

They are:

Paper

You can use cardstock, printer paper (regular paper or paper sized specifically for your planner) and vellum. The thickness or thinness of paper you can use will be up to what your printer is able to handle.

Cutting Materials

To make the cutting process much faster, a paper trimmer is ideal, but you can also use a cutting mat and craft knife or even a pair of scissors. Make sure you print the  trim or “cut” file for this.

Hole Punch

You can use a paper punch sized for your planner or a hand-held hole punch.

Printing Information for Sticky Notes:

Method 1:

There are 2 ways you can print our sticky notes. Use the Trim Mark files to cut them to size yourself using the crop marks on each image and use a tape runner or washi tape to adhere them where you’d like.

Method 2:
  1. Print the Sticky Note template file.
  2. Place your sticky notes within each box. Make sure that they are all in the same direction.
  3. Place the template sheet with the sticky notes on them in your printer’s paper tray.
  4. Open the file with the sticky note images you would like to print. Make sure you’re not opening the Trim Marks files as you will also print the crop marks if you do.
  5. Select Actual Size in your printer’s settings.
  6. Hit the Print button.
  7. You’re done! Enjoy your sticky notes! Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram! @poshpapeterie
